The name of the mapfolder is different to the name of the map.file You have stored to many maps in your Data folder. Basicly the game shows 99 unofficial maps. If you have patch 1.04 of Zero Hour installed it will show at a maximum 256 maps. The order the map are listed is: Single-player, 2-player, and so on up to 8-player. If you have more than the maximum the last maps won’t be in the list. Just delete some of the played maps or store them in another folder and you can see the new one’s. |

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOURPROFILENAMEHERE\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps - where i have typed YOURPROFILENAMEHERE you would of course use the profile name you use on your computer for example mine is thomasalan. 2. Open CnC3 worldbuilder and save a map with a unique name, then do a search for this unique name. 3. go to run then type: %USERPROFILE%\Application Data this last method may not work in some language versions of windows. 4. cncgeneralsworld.com has released a new program to manage your maps. cncgeneralsworld.com's Description: "C&C 3 Map Manager streamlines the process of installing custom maps for C&C 3: Tiberium Wars. Now you can install fan maps from C&C fansites without having to delve into your computer's folders to find the right place to put them: Map Manager handles this for you. .
5. Your folder may be hidden if you can't find it, if so follow these directions: Open a Windows Explorer window. Select My Computer from the Start menu, for example. Select Tools | Folder Options... from the menu. On Windows Vista, hold down the Alt key to see the menu.Go to the View tab. Make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected under Hidden files and folders. Optionally, remove the checkmark from Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). Vista users: Extract contents of the .zip file to the C:\Users\[USER LOGIN NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps\TiberiumWars\ folder. CnCMaps.com recommends the Generals World Map Manager program mentioned above it does a fine job managing your maps. |

Into this file goes everthing you want to change like simple weapon mods, weather conditions, color mods and so on. There are special demands how an ini.file should look. For a lot of modifications we have listed the examples in our Forums topic ‘.ini Editing’. There you can get all the information how to create an ini file.
